Saudi Arabia's Art of Perpetuating Corruption

If you have had stolen a public money in Saudi Arabia and you finally came to regret the act. You only have to pay back the money and you are immune from prosecution.
The Saudi Social Development Bank designated a bank account called ( a disclaimer before God or ابراء الذمة ) since 2006, for the purpose to clear the guilty conscience of kleptocrats before death. Burglars are welcomed to repay - anonymously,- the stolen sum into the so called "disclaim" bank account and no legal penalties will be involved. Moreover, it does not matter if you will pay the whole, or part or if you have already made profits/interest of the stolen money.
The bank account has received more than 300m Saudi Riyal (SAR), that is around $ 79,970,360.

Here is a report I wrote about the bank account in the Saud press
